Faith in God's Promises

2 Corinthians 1:20 reminds us that all of God's promises are "Yes" in Christ, and through Him, we speak the "Amen" to the glory of God.

God’s promises are more than just hopeful words—they are the very foundation of our faith. In 2 Corinthians 1:20, Paul reassures us that all of God’s promises are "Yes" in Christ. This means that every promise God has made finds its fulfillment in Jesus, and because of that, we can say "Amen" or "so be it" with confidence.

Faith in God’s promises means trusting that what He has said, He will do. It means believing that His Word is true and that His character is unchanging. When God makes a promise, He is faithful to fulfill it, even when it seems like nothing is happening. His promises are not dependent on our circumstances; they are anchored in His eternal nature.

Sometimes, we may feel tempted to doubt whether God’s promises apply to us personally, especially during difficult times. But this verse reminds us that God’s promises are for all of His children, and they are guaranteed in Christ.
