Waiting for the Lord's Return

They had turned away from their old ways, leaving behind idols, and dedicated themselves to serving the living God, all while eagerly waiting for Jesus, who would save them from impending judgment. This kind of eagerness is a compelling example for us, especially as we approach the Advent season.

Advent centers around waiting for the Lord’s return. While we celebrate Christ’s first coming during Christmas, we’re also reminded to live in a state of readiness for His second coming.
